Betriek lives with her daughter Hanna and her parents in a house at the edge of a large peat bog in the Northern Netherlands. When the mummified remains of a woman are found and strange things start happening, the young widow is convinced that it’s all connected to an old family curse. In his first feature, Moloch, Dutchman Nico van den Brink delights us with a highly atmospheric folk-horror sketch. Infused with mysticism and profoundly spooky, this fright fest is immersed in compelling landscapes and culminates in a powerful finale.
